Empowering Church Leadership: The Third United Methodist Church Pastoral Retreat in Burundi
Over 300 United Methodist pastors and deacons from across Burundi gathered in Ngozi Province for one of the country’s largest pastoral development retreats, aimed at strengthening spiritual leadership within the rapidly growing Methodist Church community.

On March 23, 2025 at St. Peter’s Cathedral of the United Methodist Church, Burundi Annual Conference held a Special Sunday Service, where Bishop-Elect Dr. Emmanuel SINZOHAGERA of Burundi and Rwanda Annual Conferences participated in the first Sunday service since elected by Africa Central Conference in South Africa on March 15. 2025.
